Sheringham is already guaranteed a prize win of £21,142 but with plenty of chips and play left in this poker tournament Teddy Sheringham is very much in contention for the bracelet win.

288 goals

This player definitely know when and how to strike. In his professional football career he scored 288 goals in 755 matches in the period 1983 to 2008. Teddy Sheringham might be most famous for the treble he won when he played in Manchester United in 1998-1999. He replaced the legendary Eric Cantona who left Manchester United and with strikers like Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole on the team Teddy Sheringham had to fight to be elected for the team.

He is know to be a fighter on the football field which he proved in the dying seconds of the Champions League final against Bayern Munich in 1999 where he scored the equalizing goal and shortly after Ole Gunner Solskjær scored Manchester United’s winning goal from Sheringham’s headed flick-on.

A feared poker opponent

Teddy Sheringham will be a feared opponent at the poker tables. Knowing how to penalize errors, how to open up a defense and execute with scorings even late in matches Teddy will look to take all his knowledge from the football games to the green felt at the poker tables during WSOPE taking place these days in London.

Day 4 is going to be a fantastic day of poker as very big name players still remain in the tournament including Doyle Brunsson, Daniel Negreanu, Matt Hawrilenko the current chip leader, Arnaud Mattern and John Kabbaj just to mention a few. Teddy Sheringham will once again play against the best player in the world just this time in the game of poker.
