Jennifer Tilly won heat 3 at Party Poker World Open

As reported yesterday three players was left when heat of the Party Poker World Open was called of for the night. High stakes player Sammy “any two” George, Neil Channing and Jennifer Tilly had to come back and fight for the final table spot today. Jennifer Tilly continued to play aggressively and finally took out a short stacked Sammy George with pocket threes against Sammy’s big slick. The heads up match between the two professional players ended suddenly in when Neil Channing was holding 42 and Jennifer Tilly 54 on a K3226 board.

Jennifer Tilly now joins her life companion Phil Laak and Luke “FullFlush1” at the final table who already appears to become filled by a real tough field. Heat four recently ended with Teddy Sheringham as the runner up to the eventual winner Jan Veit who qualified for this event on Party Poker. Teddy Sheringham is a poker player in form as he the last three weeks have created some good results and we expect to see him at the tables when EPT Warsaw is to be played in a week from now. Heat four had a strong line up with Alec Torelli, November nine finalist and also a player in form Antoine Saout and Scott Fischman as the contestants to beat to advance to the final table. Jan Veit has to be counted on at the final table taking in to consideration the many really good players he managed to beat in his way to victory in heat 4.

Heat 5 in the Party Poker World Open V is underway and Andy Black is the favorite to take this one down after having taken an early chip lead.
