England team News

Fabio Capello announced his first England Squad for the international friendly with Hungary following a dire world cup He included many players that he considered the future of England and thought that would suffice. However Fabio Capello has already been embarrassed with the withdrawals and retirement of Wes Brown and Paul Robinson. Darren Bent has also withdrawn from the squad, so either Carlton Cole or Bobby Zamora will start.

Arsenal youngster Wilshere, with only two league appearances and Gibbs with 11 appearances are set to feature at some point. However their call up does beg the question, if they are not good enough to get in the Arsenal team, is the Arsenal team better than the England team? Dawson is likely to get his first start in an England shirt and Joe Hart will start in goal as he is the only goalkeeper left in the squad following Robinson’s retirement and an injury to Foster.

Furthermore Fabio in an attempt to fill up the stadium has welcomed any booing that might be due from the disastrous World Cup campaign. He has said that the team deserve any booing that may take place. The English FA has also dropped the price of the tickets to £10.

The England squad in full is Hart, Cahill, A Cole Dawson , Gibbs , Jagielka , G Johnson , Terry ,Barry , Gerrard, A Johnson, Lampard, Milner , Young , Walcott , Wilshere, Bent, C Cole , Rooney and Zamora

Prediction
England’s young guns will be looking to impress the nation and the experienced players will look to make amends for past mistakes. Hungary don’t seem to have the quality to get anything here.
