This years WSOP Main Event was concluded last night, when the final Heads-Up match was played in Las Vegas at the Penn & Teller Theater between Jonathan Duhamel and John Racener. Canadian Jonathan Duhamel was the major favorite for the title going into the Heads-Up with 86 % of the chips and never gave away his lead.

The final table of the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event is just a little more than two weeks away. Back in July, 7319 players turned out to the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV to try their hand at the Championship bracelet and over $8.9 Million in prize money. Many of these players play online poker and won their entry into the event via online satellite.

After several days of waiting, the last heads-up match between Gus Hansen and Jim Collopy was finally played yesterday. The anticipated match lasted about 4 hours, but eventually ‘The Great Dane’ took down the prestigious title and the WSOP bracelet. This was Gus Hansen’s first bracelet, which means he can finally write WSOP winner on his impressive CV that already includes three WPT titles and an Aussie Millions win.
