FA CUP Tottenham v Bolton
Posted on February 24, 2010 by Tasouski
Tottenham missed yet another penalty kick in the first match against Bolton Wanderers to secure a place in the sixth round of the FA Cup. Thus tonight at 20:00 at White Hart Lane the two teams will meet again to determine who will face Fulham in the next round.
Not the biggest priority
Bolton in the Premiership relegation battle might not see the FA Cup as their biggest priority at this point in time while Tottenham looking to secure 4th place and Champions League participation also might find it tough to concentrate 100% winning tonight’s match. However Tottenham is likely to advance as they simply have the stronger team and the home field advantage and this combined with Bolton’s crucial match v Wolves on Saturday everything points towards a very secure Tottenham Win tonight. At all times Bolton will focus on their chance of staying in Premier League and the players know that the match Saturday is far more important than a tiny chance of becoming FA Cup Champions this year.
Betting is a must
Betting on the match and a Tottenham victory is a must. Odds on Tottenham as outright winners are currently trading at 1.36 at 888sport but more interesting it is to back Tottenham winning with more than 1 goal which at the moment can be found to the phenomenal odds 1.95. Tottenham will have a few players out due to injuries (Ledley King, Aaron Lennon) and Kyle Walker and Younes Kaboul are both cup tied. Bolton also face injury problems for a few players and also have players cup tied (Gretar Steinsson, Chris Basham and Mark Davies are injured while Vladimir Weiss and Jack Wilshere are cup-tied).
